We will perform an urgent hotfix upgrade of our Aptos Testnet nodes to aptos-node v1.40.2-rc on February 4, 2026, at 11:00 UTC.
This release addresses critical stability issues identified in the previous Testnet build and is required for continued correct Testnet operation.

No downtime is expected, but customers may experience brief connection interruptions and a small number of HTTP 503 responses as services restart and resynchronize with the network.
