We will perform a mandatory security upgrade across Optimism Mainnet and Optimism Sepolia on January 14, 2026, at 12:00 UTC.
This upgrade is required for OP Stack networks and includes mandatory updates to op-node and op-geth. The update addresses a security issue; details are intentionally limited per upstream guidance.

No downtime is expected, but customers may experience brief connection interruptions and a small number of HTTP 503 responses as services restart and resynchronize with the network.
