We are upgrading our Polygon Mainnet infrastructure to bor-v2.10.3 and heimdall-v0.12.2. This is a security maintenance release from Polygon Labs that patches two denial-of-service vulnerabilities in parallel block execution, along with transaction pool and stability improvements. No hard fork is involved. During the maintenance window, brief interruptions to RPC availability may occur.
RPC Changes: - Pending transactions — changed. When a pending transaction's fee cap is too low for it to be mined, later transactions from the same sender that are stuck behind it are now evicted from the mempool, and resubmitting the same evicted transactions may be rejected. To unblock a stuck sequence, replace the underpriced transaction with one paying a higher fee. - debug_traceBlock / debug_traceTransaction — improved. Tracing is more efficient for blocks and transactions that emit large numbers of logs.
