We are upgrading our Sui Testnet infrastructure to testnet-v1.74.0.

This release introduces Sui Protocol Version 127, which enables always_advance_dkg_to_resolution and updates gas prices for range proof verification and Ristretto group operations. Ristretto255 group operations and bulletproofs range proof verification are now enabled on testnet.

During the maintenance window, brief interruptions to RPC availability may occur.

RPC Changes:
SimulateTransaction — Now accepts gas_price=0 for gasless-tier-eligible transactions via both the unresolved proto path and as pre-built BCS transactions, instead of returning an error.
