Urgent Ethereum Mainnet - Upgrade to Geth v1.17.8

We are upgrading our Ethereum Mainnet infrastructure to Geth v1.17.8 on 2026-10-15. This is a security-focused release, along with several RPC correctness improvements. Brief interruptions to RPC availability may occur on that date.

RPC Changes:
eth_createAccessList — Now works correctly when the sender account has no balance.
eth_simulateV1 — Fixed to correctly report ETH transfer logs post-Amsterdam fork.
eth_simulateV1 — Virtual blocks are now aligned with the Amsterdam specification.
eth_capabilities — Now reports the availability of receipts bounded by the transaction hash index.
eth_call — Transaction gas limit is no longer applied after the Amsterdam fork.
