We are upgrading our Sei pacific-1 infrastructure to seid v6.7.0 on 2026-10-06. This is a mandatory consensus-breaking hard fork that will activate at block 236450000.
Brief interruptions to RPC availability may occur on that date.
This release removes the IBC, capability, and feegrant modules entirely. It tightens pagination and request limits on several RPC and gRPC endpoints to protect against DoS attacks, and introduces a new LittDB-based block and receipt storage backend. Legacy sei_* and sei2_* JSON-RPC methods are removed in favor of standard eth_* methods, with only sei_getSeiAddress, sei_getEVMAddress, and sei_getCosmosTx remaining.
RPC Changes: - sei_* and sei2_* legacy JSON-RPC methods — Removed entirely. Use standard eth_* methods instead. - eth_estimateGasAfterCalls — Call count is now capped to prevent resource exhaustion. - eth_getBlockReceipts — Fan-out and concurrent log subscriptions are capped for DoS protection. - eth_createAccessList — Request limiter is now enforced. - eth_getLogs — Peak memory is bounded by matched-log count and byte budgets; DB-read slots are released if a block read panics. The maxLog cap is applied during merge. Concurrent subscriptions are capped. - eth_getProof — Removed; no longer supported.
