We are upgrading our BNB Smart Chain Mainnet infrastructure to geth v1.7.7 and reth-bsc v0.1.1 to support the Pasteur hard fork scheduled for 2026-08-25 02:30:00 UTC.
This release implements BEP-673 changes including rejection of duplicate bridge validators and system contract upgrades, along with bug fixes across RPC, p2p, filters, and state management.

During the maintenance window, brief interruptions to RPC availability may occur.

RPC Changes:
eth_gasPrice — fixed a default configuration issue that was causing this method to return a skewed value of 0 on reth-bsc nodes.
