We are upgrading our Aptos testnet node to v1.44.2-rc. During the maintenance window, brief interruptions to RPC availability may occur. This release includes consensus improvements, storage enhancements, VM security fixes etc.

RPC Changes:

Gas estimation — modified A 10x multiplier has been applied to gas costs and storage fees, consistent with prior mainnet changes. Any client-side logic that hardcodes gas amounts or budgets transaction fees should be updated accordingly.

EncryptedTransactionPayload — added A new encrypted transaction payload type is now included in the REST API and indexer gRPC responses. Consumers parsing transaction payloads should be updated to handle the new enum variant.
