We are upgrading our Aptos Mainnet infrastructure to v1.45.5 and our Aptos Testnet infrastructure to v1.46.1-rc.
The Mainnet patch includes a consensus fix to skip signing round 0 ledger info and a VM fix making MoveTypeLayout trait implementations DAG-safe.
The Testnet release candidate includes consensus and mempool improvements, BlockSTM v2 enablement on validators, storage updates (hot state promotions persisted in epilogue, KV/tree sequencing fixes), VM and compiler updates, encrypted transaction handling improvements, network peer dialing and latency pinging improvements, security fixes including iterative drop for nested Move values and PROXY protocol length-based allocation hardening, and various performance optimizations across mono-move runtime work.
During the maintenance window, customers may experience intermittent disruptions to RPC availability as nodes are rotated through the upgrade process.
RPC Changes: No customer-facing RPC changes in these releases.
