We are upgrading our Avalanche infrastructure to avalanchego v1.15.1 on 2026-10-12. This is a backwards-compatible patch release focused on C-Chain (SAE) correctness and performance improvements, along with minor API enhancements. Brief interruptions to RPC availability may occur on that date.
RPC Changes: eth_estimateGas — Now includes the minimum gas limit required by the mempool for the transaction's size. Large transactions signed with estimates will no longer be rejected with 'insufficient gas limit for tx size'. eth_createAccessList — Now includes the minimum gas limit required by the mempool for the transaction's size. Large transactions signed with estimates will no longer be rejected with 'insufficient gas limit for tx size'. platform.getCurrentValidators — New fields 'restakedValidationRewards' and 'restakedDelegateeRewards' have been added to results for auto-renewed validators.
