We are upgrading our Bitcoin Cash infrastructure to Bitcoin Cash Node v29.2.0 on 2026-10-13. This release introduces native Schnorr signature signing by default, adds and updates multiple RPC methods for ecosystem compatibility, removes the obsolete excessive blocksize feature, and includes performance optimizations and a JSON-RPC input sanitization security fix. Brief interruptions to RPC availability may occur on that date.

RPC Changes:
New
• simulaterawtransaction — New method that calculates the balance change that would result from signing and broadcasting the given transaction(s).
