We are upgrading our Avalanche Mainnet infrastructure to AvalancheGo v1.15.0 to support the Helicon network upgrade, scheduled to activate at 11 AM ET (3 PM UTC) on Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026. Helicon introduces C-Chain Async Execution (ACP-194), Auto-Renewed Staking (ACP-236), Validator Uptime Requirements Increase (ACP-267), Reduced Minimum Validator Staking Duration (ACP-273), Dynamic Minimum C-Chain Gas Price (ACP-283), and Reduced Minimum Consumption Rate (ACP-285). This release includes significant breaking changes to C-Chain APIs and configuration.
During the maintenance window, brief interruptions to RPC availability may occur.
RPC Changes: - pending block — Now resolves to the last executed block by default. - latest block — Now resolves to the last executed block. - safe and finalized blocks — Both now resolve to the last settled block. - avax.getAtomicTxStatus — This RPC is deprecated; use avax.getAtomicTx instead.
