We are upgrading our Zcash Mainnet infrastructure to Zebra v6.1.0.
This release includes several security hardening fixes: block templates now reserve space for header and transaction count data so mined blocks cannot exceed the consensus size limit, validation performance has been improved to avoid excessive processing time on blocks with many transparent outputs, and peer handling has been hardened against a chain-sync stalling issue and against peers that push consensus-invalid transactions directly.
During the maintenance window, brief interruptions to RPC availability may occur.
RPC Changes: A new getstandardfee RPC method has been added. This parameterless method returns the recommended standard fee per logical action (the ZIP-317 marginal fee, currently 5000 zatoshis), along with a version field to support future dynamic fee estimation.
