Update

There is a newer version v8.10.0 with only warnings added and bug fix. So we'll upgrade stacks-blockchain-api on Stacks Mainnet and Testnet to v8.10.0 in this maintenance.

We will be upgrading our stacks-blockchain-api on Stacks Mainnet and Testnet to v8.9.0 on 2025-04-25 at 03:00 am UTC.

This updates includes the following Highlighted Changes:
- v8.8.0 deprecates the `/extended/v1/address/:addr/balances` and `/extended/v1/address/:addr/stx`.
- v8.9.0 marks the `/mempool/dropped` endpoint as legacy deprecated. We've set `STACKS_API_ENABLE_LEGACY_ENDPOINTS=true` on our nodes so this method is still supported.
