We are upgrading our Tempo Testnet infrastructure to v1.16.0 on 2026-10-08. This release is required for the T12 network upgrade, which introduces configurable nonces for parallel expiring transactions, MPP sessions for closed-loop stablecoins, relaxed ABI validation, aligned DEX quote and swap calculations, and authorized burns for TIP-20 tokens. Brief interruptions to RPC availability may occur on that date.
RPC Changes: Native contract gas limits — Calls to native contracts must have more than 2,300 gas remaining before writing to storage; calls with insufficient gas will fail with an out-of-gas error. Integrations with hardcoded gas limits or explicit gas forwarding caps to native contracts must re-estimate on T12. DEX tick liquidity storage — Stored tick liquidity totals stop updating after T12 activation. Integrations reading those totals directly from storage must switch to `getTickLevel` or sum remaining amounts of active orders; quote and swap APIs remain unchanged. Expiring-nonce validation — Nonce validation behavior corrects error classification for expiring-nonce cases while keeping ordinary nonce overflow permanently invalid.
